Environmental Policy

Purpose

The Environmental Policy has been established to define the core principles of the Environmental Management System of FORTE Kent Teknolojileri A.Ş.

Scope

It covers all activities that directly or indirectly affect the operations of FORTE Kent and all its affiliated businesses.

Legal Framework

FORTE Kent Teknolojileri A.Ş. conducts its activities in accordance with local and international environmental laws, regulations and the relevant legislation. Where these are insufficient or absent, practices in line with the sector's general practices and international custom are applied.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Environmental Policy, established by the management systems coordination office, is reviewed together with human resources and all units, and is updated and managed by the management systems coordination office. All employees work in cooperation to achieve the goals of this policy; all units are responsible for taking and implementing the actions related to their own areas of responsibility.

General Principles

In line with our vision of being a pioneer in our target regions, the Environmental Policy established and declared by FORTE Kent Teknolojileri A.Ş. consists of the following elements:

• Every waste disposal process resulting from business activities is perceived as a loss of natural resources; methods to prevent pollution at its source are developed.
• Methods to conserve natural resources such as energy and water are developed.
• In business processes, compliance with all legal and other requirements of the country of operation is accepted as a fundamental requirement.
• To prevent losses and protect the environment, the performance of the Environmental Management System is continuously monitored, measured and improved.
• With the awareness that every activity has an impact on the environment, working methods compatible with natural life in the surrounding environment are adopted.
• The necessary environmental awareness is instilled in the employees of all businesses and subcontractors; sustainable development is supported through a culture of continuous improvement.
• To pass a healthy and clean environment on to future generations, analyses aimed at controlling environmental aspects and impacts are carried out, environmental goals and targets to reduce resource use are set, and environmental performance is regularly monitored.
• The recovery, recycling and reuse of waste generated by business activities are encouraged.
• On the principle that the environment improves through employee participation, system performance is monitored with chained responsibility.
• In the event of any accident or emergency during activities, measures to minimize environmental damage are planned and implemented.
